Dining Table & Chair Set - CAD Shop Drawings
A six-seat solid oak dining set translated from concept sketches into production-ready AutoCAD shop drawings. Every joinery detail, dimension, and assembly note is documented for direct handoff to a furniture manufacturer.
PROJECT OVERVIEW
This project required bridging the gap between a designer’s freehand sketches and the precision required by a joinery workshop. The drawings needed to capture mortise-and-tenon joint details, hardware hole positions, and surface finish zones, all while remaining readable on a workshop floor.

- Plan, elevation, and section drawings for table and chair
- Exploded assembly view with numbered part callouts
- Joinery detail drawings at 1:2 scale
- Hardware schedule and finish specification table
- PDF and DWG export for manufacturing

DESIGN NOTES
All dimensions are in millimetres with key imperial equivalents noted in parentheses for international clients. Standard woodworking tolerances of ±1mm were applied throughout.
